Envisage Pre-incubation Program

The Envisage Pre-incubation Program is a 3-month program designed to nurture young women's minds with an entrepreneurial mindset and to develop a market prototype.

The aspiring entrepreneurs – students and startups – will receive in-depth training on entrepreneurship and innovation, starting from idea validation to creating business plans.

Who can apply?
  • Women aspiring to become entrepreneurs.
  • Women with an idea.
  • Women who have a prototype but don't know how to take it to the market.
What does the Program cover?
  • Basic entrepreneurship awareness for students.
  • Validating the idea and market.
  • Product Market Fit.
  • Business Model Canvas.
  • Understanding of IP Rights and filing the IP.
  • Development of a working prototype.

Envisage Pre-incubation Program - First Cohort

The first cohort of the Envisage Pre-incubation Program was launched with 16 ideas from G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (For Women). This event was graced by the presence of British Deputy High Commissioner, His Excellency Gareth Wynn Owen.

On 2nd December 2022, the students pitched their innovative ideas in front of the British Deputy High Commissioner. The program concluded successfully on 21st August 2023, with several market-viable proofs of concept emerging from the cohort.

Envisage Pre-incubation Program - Second Cohort

An orientation session was conducted by the AIC-GNITS team for the First Year students of GNITS along with a day–long design thinking workshop. The students were then asked to submit their ideas in the online Ideathon 1.0, wherein the applications were open from July 1, 2023 to July 31, 2023. 42 interesting ideas were submitted as part of the ideathon, out of which AIC-GNITS team after a scrutiny, selected top 15 ideas that shall be part of Cohort 2 of Envisage Pre-incubation Program. The program is ongoing and looking to graduate in June 2024
